A Warm Welcome to IUMI 2027

It is our great pleasure to host the 2027 International Union of Marine Insurance (IUMI) Conference in Yokohama from 19 to 22 September 2027. In this graceful port city, the Conference returns to Japan for the first time in a decade, marking the sixth occasion on which our country has had the privilege of welcoming the IUMI community.

More than 700 delegates, including leading marine insurance specialists from around the world, are expected to attend. Alongside the IUMI committee meetings, workshops on themes such as cargo, hull, loss prevention, and law and liability will offer a valuable forum for expert insight, thoughtful discussion, and collaborative problem-solving as our industry evolves.

Beyond the formal sessions, the Conference will create opportunities to renew friendships, build new connections, and exchange ideas that help chart the future of our industry. Networking events will further enrich these encounters in Yokohama’s vibrant harbour atmosphere.

We sincerely look forward to welcoming you to Yokohama, and to sharing an inspiring and memorable IUMI 2027 Conference that sets a bright course ahead.
